Shopflick Filmmakers Marketplace Rate Card

The Shopflick Filmmakers Marketplace offers four Filmmaker Rating levels, each with an applicable Rate Card: (1) Student; (2) Standard; (3) Preferred or (4) Shopflick Pro. Shopflick will assign Filmmakers a Rating based on their work, experience, credits and status.

Standard Filmmaker Rates

Base Rate: $200 per delivered Assignment (Profile Video + up to 6 video listings)
Includes one edit round (i.e. Seller Notes and Shopflick Notes, if any)
You provide your own shooting/editing equipment
In addition, the rate will be supplemented by a local travel and tape stock fee of $30 ($40 in NYC)*
Edit Process: Deliver 1st draft then receive feedback for one edit round
One Additional Edit Round (if requested): $50
$20 for each additional Product Video (over 6), with a maximum of 5 extra Product Videos

Student and Starter/Non Student Filmmaker Rates:

Base Rate: $150 per Assignment (Profile Video + up to 6 video listings)
Includes one edit round (i.e. Seller Notes and Shopflick Notes, if any)
You provide your own shooting/editing equipment
In addition, the rate will be supplemented by a local travel and tape stock fee of $30 ($40 in NYC)*
Edit Process: Deliver 1st draft then receive feedback for one edit round
Each Additional Edit Round (if requested): $50
$20 for each additional Product Video (over 6), with a maximum of 5 extra Product Videos

Preferred Filmmaker Rates:

Base Rate: $250 per Assignment (Profile Video + up to 6 video listings)
Includes one edit round (i.e. Seller Notes and Shopflick Notes, if any)
You provide your own shooting/editing equipment
In addition, the rate will be supplemented by a local travel and tape stock fee of $30 ($40 in NYC)*
Edit Process: Deliver 1st draft then receive feedback for one edit round
Each Additional Edit Round (if requested): $50
$20 for each additional Product Video (over 6), with a maximum of 5 extra Product Videos

Shopflick Pro Filmmaker:

Base Rate: To be agreed between Filmmaker and Shopflick
This Pro Filmmaker will be sent VIP Seller Assignments and other Commercial/ShopflickTV Production opportunities.

Updated and Supplemental Product Listings

After your initial Profile/Product Shoot a Seller may require additional footage for Product Video Updates. Because we know that these additional Product Videos will still require the majority of your day we will consider this to be another Full Assignment. However, in lieu of a Profile Video the Seller can request up to 10 Product Videos for this Assignment.
You will be paid in accordance with your Filmmaker Rating Level.

Determining Your Rate:

Filmmakers will be compensated based on their Filmmaker Rating Level.
Filmmakers will be assigned a level based on their work, credits and status.
Student and Standard Filmmakers may progress to Preferred status by showing a Shopflick track record of quality work and earning positive feedback from Shopflick Sellers.
Preferred Rates may be increased on a case-by-case basis for exceptional filmmakers.
A Shopflick Pro Filmmaker must be asked to join.

Payment:

All Filmmakers must have a Paypal account (For information on how to open a Paypal Account, see www.paypal.com).
In the Assignment Confirmation Form you will find a pre-created SfM Invoice.
Payment will be made upon completion of the assignment: this includes all filming and editing necessary for delivery of the Final Cut Profile and Final Cut Product Videos.
Once these Final Versions are successfully uploaded to your Sellers FTP Site Folder (See "Editing and Delivering Completed Videos" in our SfM Requirements & Guidelines), you will need to send the Seller each video using a yousendit.com (www.yousendit.com) account.
After you have successfully delivered the Final Cut Videos to both Shopflick and the Seller you will fill out your SfM Invoice, and email it to the Seller (and copy it to Shopflick). This will include a payment delivery deadline and all information necessary for you to receive Seller payment via your personal Paypal account.
Your Invoice payment is confirmation of your work and signifies the Sellers acceptance of the Final Videos.
